IF/MM: SPEED

I used the Illustration Friday topic “Speed” to represent the subject and the way in which I drew it. Opting for a quick sketch rather than a polished piece.
Now, you might be asking yourself “How will you tie this in with Mythic Monday? Especially now that it’s Wednesday?” But it’s much more likely that you could not care less.
NANABOZHO is a trickster spirit of Ojibwe mythology (sometimes known as Chippewa). He was sent to earth by the creator of all things, Gitchi Manitou after the world’s creation to name all of the plants and animals. When you need to list everything in the newly created world, you don’t turn yourself into a tortoise.

I like the disproportionate shape of the rabbit, plus the sense of purpose.

I like your mythic monday idea. This is one hunky bunny! Nice stuff as usual. Your site bears a checking out.

Beautifully done graphite rendering. You show such control of the pencil.
